She needs to give Walnut Grill a head count so they know what room to reserve for us.

Ralph Goldsticker will be our speaker. He was a bombardier in a B-17 during World War II and flew 35 missions from England to Europe. Goldsticker’s job as bombardier had him seated in the clear Plexiglas nose of the bomber with a clear view of the dangers he faced, two .50-caliber machine guns at his disposal and the responsibility for hitting and destroying the intended target. Though his plane often returned to base with damage from flak, Goldsticker was never wounded. He will be showing some of the pictures he took from his excellent viewpoint.
