MPA Guests at Missouri Capitol
Jack Jackson, a MPA member and a Missouri State Representative, has invited our chapter to be his guest at the Capitol in Jefferson City on Tuesday, April 6th. We would like a lot of our members to join us in representing MPA. Be at the Capitol by 0945 at Jack's Office (201CA) which is at the west end of the building. Park at any meter or in the garage 2 blocks east of the Capitol. Or fly down and meet us at JEF at 0915. We will go into the House at 1000 to be introduced as Jack's guests. Then we will have a tour of the Govenor's Mansion at 1100, and lunch at Madisons at 1145. Jack is really happy we are coming, so please come. Please RSVP Carol Weber at 636-458-2529 or Sue Smith at 636-274-3663 so we can plan transportation from the airport to the Capitol.
The weather did not cooperate on January 17th so we will give April 17th a try for a Fly-Out to Dexter (DXE) for ribs at the Hickory Log Restaurant. Plan to arrive at DXE at 1200. Bring cash since they do not accept credit cards.
Reminder: You must notify Carol Weber (636-458-2529 or Carol@MoPilots.US) of the head count in your party by April 16th since she has to arrange for transportation from the airport to the restaurant. Fly outs are Very VFR (5000 ft and 5 miles). Check with flight service or call Carol.
