June 7th

Combining a love for aviation and the desire to help others in need, Lifeline Pilots is a volunteer pilot organization that transports people, usually for medical reasons, from where they are to where they need to go. They also fly kids, and some adults, to special camps and transport blood, organs and tissue for transplants. Lifeline Pilots covers the North Central Region, from the Canadian border to Missouri and Arkansas and from the Dakotas to Ohio on the east. At present there are about 325 pilots on the roster and last year they flew close to 400 missions. Lifeline Chairman Mike Auster travels from Chicago to speak about this interesting and worthwhile group.

Join us at the Greenbriar Country Club, 12665 Big Bend Boulevard. Social hour is 6:00 PM, dinner at 7:00 PM and Mike will give his presentation on Lifeline Pilots at 8:00 PM. Please call Ron Hyken at 636-591-9721 or Barbara Lane at 636-391-2669 for reservations. Reservations required by noon on June 5th.

A late lunch was served in the beautiful Bear Creek Dining Room. A special thanks to Joe Hochnadel for coordinating the event with Bear Creek.
