March 5th

The March 5th MPA dinner meeting will feature well known St Louis skydiver Susan Wightman and diving partners Mike and Kathy Reckert.

Susan made her first skydive the summer of 1977 under a round type parachute with a belly reserve. She made 14 skydives that year but didn't return to the sport until 1989. That was the year that she became hooked on skydiving...and much softer landings under a square type parachute. She currently has 1200 skydives.

Kathy and Mike Reckert have participated in several demonstration jumps with Susan. These include the Fair St Louis (VP Fair Airshows), Forest Park Balloon Race, St Louis County Airshow, the Shrine Circus when at the Busch Stadium and jumped at the home opener of the RAMS football team in St Louis at Busch Stadium.

We'll be at the Greenbriar Country Club, 12665 Big Bend Boulevard. Social hour starts at 1800; Dinner ($16) at 1900 and Susan, Kathy & Mike will make their presentations at 2000. Reservations required. Please call Barb Lane at 636-391-2668 by Monday March 3rd. Note: if you don't make a reservation you will have to pay an extra $2 at the door!

(Have a present you don't know what to do with it? Bring it to the Meeting
