Wednesday, March 7th

Diane Earhart, tower controller extraordinary, at St Louis Downtown Airport, will be our guest speaker. Besides whipping all those incoming and outgoing planes in shape, Donna is also a CFII and a FAA Safety Counselor. She is also very involved, a member of the Board of Directors, with the Greater St. Louis Aviation Museum located at Hanger 2, Downtown airport. That hanger is historically significant all by itself. She has been flying since she was a teenager and has many different aircraft types noted in her log.
Come join us and have your opportunity to ask everything you ever wanted to know about tower operations and secrets there of.

Our private room opens up at 1800 with Dinner ($18/person) being served at 1900. Diane will make her presentation at 2000.

Please, please call Candy Stewart before March 2nd at 314-842-1720 or send an eMail to Mar@MoPilots.US so that we can give an accurate count to Sunset Lakes Banquet Center.

Don't forget, we are now meeting at Sunset Lakes Banquet Center, 13366 W Watson Road, Sappington, MO 63127. For door-to-door driving directions Click Here.

"Practical Risk Management"
Saturday, March 10, 2007, starting at 9:00 am

Speakers: Michael Gaffney, Fred Harms

Brief Description: The challenge is to make risk management practical and usable. To effectively evaluate hazards, we first have to know what RIGHT looks like! This program is designed to help develop the skill-sets that allow us to detect deviations from the "norm" so that we can intercept and trap errors before they can lead to an accident. This seminar is provided free, and qualifies for ground training credit toward the FAA Pilot Proficiency Program. Please register at FAASafety.gov. Refreshments will be provided.

Sunday, March 25th

We were not able to drop in at The Drop Zone in February so we will give it a try in March. Join us for our March Fly-Out to Cape Girardeau (CGI). We will be checking out the new restaurant that has opened at CGI: The Drop Zone.

Please let Sue Smith know if you will be joining us. Don't have wings? Sue will arrange for you to fly with one of our members.
Either send her an eMail or call her at 636 274-3663.
