Wednesday May 3rd

Our guest speaker will be Dean Neil Seitz from St. Louis University.

Neil has been Interim Dean of Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology since January, 2006. He served as SLU business school dean from 1993 to 2002. During his time as business school dean, the school nearly doubled the size of its entering freshman class, added 60 points to the average GMAT scores of its MBA students, nearly doubled the number of faculty with current refereed research articles, and added a $15 million building expansion.

Neil received degrees from Findlay College, the University of Hawaii, and Ohio State University. Before entering academics, he worked briefly in inventory planning and then acquisition analysis. After teaching at Florida Atlantic University, he joined the finance faculty of Saint Louis University in 1975 and has remained there except for a brief term in Beijing. He has published six books in a total of 12 English editions, plus one foreign translation. He has served on several boards of directors and has consulted with or contributed to executive development programs for companies spanning the United States, Europe, South America, Australia, and Asia. He specializes in the use of simulation to teach risk management in areas such as foreign exchange risk, credit risk, interest rate risk, and fraud risk.
We are back at the beautifully refurbished Greenbriar. Please, please call Mark Weber before May 1st at 636-458-2529 or Email RSVP@MoPilots.US so that we can give an accurate count to the Greenbriar County Club (12665 Big Bend Blvd, Kirkwood just west of I-270) which has reopened after extensive renovations.
