Wednesday September 7th

Our guest speaker will be Mike Gaffney of Skyline Aeronautics who will give us a presentation that he gave at Oshkosh this year. If you were not at Oshkosh, this is your chance to hear what he had to say about "Pilot Transition Issues to a Technically Advanced Cockpit".

New aircraft are being equipped with Garmin's G1000. The G1000 avionics package is the most advanced flight deck package to fly on a single engine piston aircraft. It integrates all primary flight, navigation, communication, terrain, traffic, weather and engine sensor data on two large 10.4 inch glass, high resolution, XGA technology display units. The system will ease pilot workload and offer a new level of safety and situational awareness during all phases of flight.

Mike's presentation is one you certainly will not want to miss. Social hour (cash bar) begins at 1800; dinner ($18.00) is at 1900 with the big event at 2000. Seating is limited so reservations are required. Please contact Mark Weber by email RSVP@MoPilots.US or phone 636-458-2529 no later than Monday September 5th if you plan to attend.

{Have a present you don't know what to do with it? Bring it to the Meeting
and donate it to our 50/50. You'll get 3 free tickets for each item donated.}
