Saturday, September 30 – car show on the terminal ramp at Boone County Airport (KHRO) from 10 – 3 this Saturday multiple food trucks, various vendors, kid activities, including bounce houses plus entertainment. This is a Crusin’ for Vets benefit show with more than 200 vehicles expected. This event was held downtown last year and there wasn’t enough room for everyone so it was moved to the airport terminal ramp. Come out and see some fine show vehicles and help support our veterans. Program will be the about Aviators Direct – a new aviation insurance company for older pilots. Most aviation insurance companies are either cancelling us older pilots or pricing their products so high that coverage is unaffordable. The Aviators Direct company plans to provide an alternative because they know we didn’t get old by doing stupid things in an airplane..
